Students are presently writing a mini speech in class. They have an outline and rubric in their binder. They brainstorm, write a rough draft, peer conference, write a final draft, prepare cue cards, and rehearse their mini speech.
The English process exam takes five periods in class and starts right after the May long weekend. The best way to prepare for the exam is to study the Glossary of Literary Elements in their binder. (We have just completed a practice exam in class.)
Students are asked to read at home 5 nights a week.
Students are expected to record homework daily into their agendas from the white board in the classroom. The major assignments will also be posted on this website.
