Students are presently writing a mini speech in class. They have an outline and rubric in their binder. Students brainstorm, write a rough draft, peer conference, write a final draft, prepare cue cards, and rehearse their mini speech.
The English process exam starts right after the May long weekend and takes 5 class periods. The best way to prepare is to review the Glossary of Literary Elements in their binder. (We have just completed a practice exam in class.) Students are asked to read at home 5 nights a week.
Students are expected to record homework daily into their agendas from the white board in the classroom. The major assignments will also be posted on this website.
